Oil Filter Maintenance Instruction 

Replacing Your Oil Filter:

1. Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is stable and the engine is cool. Gather tools: oil filter wrench, drain pan, gloves, and new oil filter.
2. Oil Drainage: Locate the oil drain plug and remove it to catch the draining oil in the pan. Wait for complete drainage.
3. Old Filter Removal: Use the oil filter wrench to turn the old filter counterclockwise until it comes off. Dispose of it responsibly.
4. Prepare New Filter: Apply a small amount of oil to the new filter's gasket to ensure a proper seal.
5. Install New Filter: Screw the new filter onto the mount clockwise until hand-tight, then use the wrench to tighten it an additional quarter-turn.
6. Refill and Final Checks: Replace the drain plug, refill the engine with the specified oil, and start the engine to check for leaks and proper oil pressure.
